after the rain / sleet / hail for most of the day we had a break in the weather this evening.. so i headed out for a nice stroll around my permission - i took my cheap sbs in case it poured again, but luckily it didnt - and i managed to catch this fella on his way back towards the old railway line.. he is currently relaxing in my fridge covered in olive oil and garlic!

i know its only one- but this evening spent enjoying the countryside and a nice walk.. AND getting some nice fresh organic protein is the reason i shoot!

nice one :hmm::hmm: whats that gun :lol:

the gun is an old dtne sbs made by amarelli & sons (i think) from the eibar region,

i brought it as a dirt cheap rough gun (£50)- but i have used it way more than my beretta a303 / marocchi o/u

to be honest if had brought this first i dont think i would have bothered with the other two- im a newbie with the shotgun and wanted to try each format to find the one i liked-

its light, handles nicely and i think it fits me well

the only downside is it is choked extra full + full - the main difference i notice is that compared to my other guns it kicks much harder (not sure of this is the choke or the lightness of it??)

- and it seems to make a right mess of anything at less than 20 yards! - :hmm:
