lord_seagrave
Does anyone know a friendly founder who could manufacture a cast iron soil pipe for me? It's a small job, but needs to be done well. I have a picture and a plan in email-able form if they need it. Regards, LS

Surely you can find what you are looking for in one, unless you want your coat of arms on the hopper? D2D
lord_seagrave
Hey D2D, I have tried, but the angles involved cannot be accommodated. It is a small(ish) space and the path of the pipe is tricky. I've had a ball-park figure from a guy in Bath of £450-£500, which is a little more than I want to spend. Having said that, if I am able to avoid boxing anything in then I will. LS

lord_seagrave
Hey Al4x, It's to be exposed, and I want it to look the part. The alternative is to use plastic and box it in, but I'm aesthetically against that. Peter I've called Longbottom's and spoken to Richard - faxing over a plan now. al4x
In that case to my mind you need to see if anyone has one on the shelf so to speak. I got cast guttering from a builders merchants near me so it may be worth a phone round. Otherwise casting a one off is going to cost you a packet. There are the likes of this mob who may be able to help or point you in the right direction http://www.tuscanfoundry.co.uk/subcategories.asp?cat=
