anser2
It can be ok in a wood as the birds become confused with the poor visibility , but they do not seem to be able to pick up decoys and for field shooting I have found it a waste of time . But others may have had different experiances. I would much rather have a bright breezy clear day for a good bag.
malkiserow
I've had fantastic shooting in the mist provided you are spot-on under a flight line. And they deeked well simply because they were fairly low flying and the deeks were right below them.

bunnybasher07
yeh but theres a downside aswell .... you cant see very far (backdrop) GM
ferretman
i would think with a rifle it would not be safe as you can not see that far as you need a back stop.
gixer1
I was actually out last night with the CZ 22 and i have a scope mounted spot lamp and it was impossible to see as the vapour/mist in the air was lit up by the lamp which obscured the view from the scope! gave up and went home! THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
I've found roost shooting ok in fog or under sitty trees in daytime ok. Tried lamping once in misty conditions (appearwed when I was allready out) & quickly packed up & went home. Generally if foggy or misty I don't bother now unless I know it will clear as the sun comes up.
