HeadShotHoncho
have heard of flatheads being good through the internet but after reading total airguns (which is know what i swear by) have decided to stear clear of them due to the lack of accuracy, could be good for feral bashing or close range ratting but i prefer to use pest control for close range scenarios such as that HSH
airssassin
I use only rounded pellets now as they are more accurate and that's what matters for clean kills. I have tried hollow point and found no difference in efficiency of kill against a rounded pellet (in 0.177).
monkeyjaimz
I use: Bisley Magnums Bisley Superfields Barracudas and they all do the job very very well, if I want to completely devastate a rat at close range - I put the pellet in the breach backwards (splat) p.s the real question shouldnt be what pellets do you like, it's what pellets does your gun like Edited April 24, 2008 by monkeyjaimz

Axe
Diablo pellets everytime, mostly Accupels.
monkeyjaimz
NOT a very clever idea i must admit steve why? do you not like superfields? If you're referring to the pellet in backwards 'technique' (I use the term loosely), airgunners a lot more experianced than me or most people have been doing that for over 40 years
Quickshot
When I Was Shooting A Friends .177 All They Had Was Flat Heads. But I Still Managed To Shoot 5 Pigeons With Good Clean Head Shots. QS

magdie
I have a HW100T and it is spot on with accupels, super dome, penetrators,Logon Penetrators are really hard hitting, but for everyday hunting I stick to accupels.

Renegade Master
I am in the process of testing Field and target trophys and acupells EDIT: there seems to be rather a pig change in POI though??? I expected some but im getting 2 inches! I believe the H&N FTT's are a fair bit lighter than AA's. Something like 14 grains for the FTT's and 16 grains for the Fields.
