reedbradshaw
my friend when he shoots holds a big mag light under his "fore stock" hand. it does look uncomfy but hes happy doing it. give it a try may save you some money
JohnGalway
This is the Lightforce set up, lamp is the 140 lance. The bracket is mounted too far forward in this photo, I now have it back near the fore end nut. I've used it on rabbits and foxes with a lot of success, can take running and stationary quarry. Now, for foxes I don't bother mounting it, I've the shotgun in one hand with the fore end resting on my forearm and the lamp in my other hand. Works for me. Baldrick
I also use the two methods that John's described. My Section-1 semi, with a Lightforce clamped on it, makes a pretty formidable too for clearing rabbits after harvest.
sambu13
looks good!!!!!!does it unbalence the gun at all?
JohnGalway
Not if you have it back near the fore end nut no, mind you the Lightforce lamps are very light anyway. People will say you can't shoot rabbits on the run with it, that's utter ********. Set the lamp to flood and you can do it just fine. deer stalker
Yes a very good combernation for rats and rabbits. for rats i have my lamp on a bolt action .410 and for rabbit the lamp is put on ether a beretta xtremer2 but i pefer the lamp a mossberg 500 12g i have found that the lamp on the moss- is better because you can put the lamp on the bottom tube and it is better balenced.
