bazguevara
I'm thinking of buying a Harris bipod for my Ruger 10/22 and I was just wondering how exatly do they attach to the stock? I've got a Hogue stock on the gun and I want to know if any drilling etc. is involved. Having looked at the photos of everyone's guns I know that many of you use them so I reckon you're the right people to ask!
tulkyuk
If your going to do it, you'll nee to take the stock off and drill it through, then attach a sling stud by using nuts on the inside
DaveK
Hogue stocks should haveQD studs at front and back as standard. All mine have. harris bipods fit to the QS stud and if you use a sling, that fits to the bipod. Edited May 30, 2008 by DaveK
steve_b_wales
I agree with DaveK. I have a Hogue stock on mine plus a Harris Bipod - fitted straight onto the stud
bazguevara
Cheers guys, any suggestions on what size to go for? I was thinking of getting the 6"-9" because I'm really short (4'11" lol), but now I'm edging towards the 9"-13" tilting one.
