Highlander
Well said D2D Unfortunately PW seems divided between honest folks, dishonest folks and those who can find an excuse for any bad behaviour

MM
when the banks are charging £30 if you go into the red by pence, i say, damnation to the banks. if its gordons ice cream shop, who only makes enough to get by, then it goes back. like i say, if hes on the list....... would i like to think that others would give it back if i dropped it? dont care, i put an elastic band round my wallet
njc110381
I'm very much a person that decides on the day. If it's a small shop I'd give it back but in a chain that's set on ripping us off anyway I'll happily keep it! My boss dropped the staff wages on a lawn once, about £800 in cash. I made him think he'd hit it with the mower at first, the look on his face was priceless when I pulled it out of my jacket pocket a few minutes later. lurcherboy
It must be an age thing but I would have given it back H. 10 years ago it would have been mine and I would have never given it a second thought. LB
