bob300w
Can anyone estimate what weight of lead is fired from shotgun cartridges in the UK in a year? Also, how many chickens do we consume (globally) in a year? Just wondered Robert Ever thought that you have too much time on your hands? bob300w
My club averaged 70 entries, 50 shots each, 20 days of the year for 25 years, at 1oz per cartridge, that works out at 48.82 tons, from one small club, plus the pigeon and wildfowl shooting. Scary innit?

Floating Chamber
Someone's been on the pop! (But I did relieve a shooting ground of 800 kilos of spent shot one afternoon in 1992!! Just by shovelling 'soil' from the DTL into the wind and winnowing!) Edited June 13, 2008 by Floating Chamber
