Jonnyni
jonny, now you know where they are getting in, is there any chance of a stake out, Try bashing a tin of dog food with a hammer to split it a few times and use this as bait, that way they can't drag it away and sit with it feeding for a clear shot  it would make some nice photos, That would be a dream come true VD Unfortunatly its all underground where the bast@rds are. Teal
No luck with the trap yet then? Try it with bacon if you have nothing after a week. Bacon always wins... shame to waste it though
henry d
J,sorry to hear about your prob.I have been on a rodent course and the one thing that was brand new to us all was that rats will avoid new things ie.your traps,so dont expect instant results, perseverance is the key.If the little **** are coming in from outside then you should see a smudge trail where their bellies drag on the ground, they also tend to follow walls etc.as they move about.I know everyone says chocolate but I`ve only ever used grain. If you`re using a single live catch trap remember to use smaller mesh at the end where the bait is as this prevents the bu£&ers reaching the bait and nicking it.Best of luck mate
