Peter De La Mare
In that case you are close to the following grounds.... http://www.wkss.demon.co.uk/ http://www.martingorsewood.co.uk/ Withing driving distance of, and worthwhile making the trip for :- http://www.southdownsgc.com/ I'd go to West Kent myself. Peter De La Mare
Dartford then, about an hour in car.....probably, I've never driven it. It's just near the Dartford Bridge. http://www.dartcsc.co.uk/ Hawleys and JJ's are also nearby. http://www.hawleycsg.co.uk/ http://www.jjscsc.co.uk/index2.html There maybe a local straw bale shoot nearer, but these are all I know about. Chard
Greenfields near Canterbury must be nearer to Dymchurch than Paddock Wood. I'm sure they're open Sunday, but I can't find what the times are on their website. I can't undestand why they're so coy about letting people know when they're open. I think they're ******* expensive too. Again, I can't find much on the site about prices, but there was passing reference to £35 for 100 clays . Can't be right - nobody would be daft enough to pay that, surely?

Cranfield
The nearest Clay Ground to Dymchurch is Willow Farm, which is on the road between Appledore and Tenterden. Its a better set up than JJ's at Dartford, but not as good as West Kent, I shoot there quite regularly in the week and it is OK. Willow Farmhouse, Reading St, Tenterden, Kent TN30 7LA Tel: 01233 758 703 http://www.multimap.com/maps/?hloc=GB|TN30...07LA|TN30%207LA

Cranfield
I thought they did shoot Sundays, did you ring them ? If they are shut, then MartinGorse at Dover would be the closest http://www.martingorsewood.co.uk/ . Nick, its quite a good Sporting layout, plus skeet and DTL, but sometimes not all the traps work and they are a trapper/guide short. In the week its quiet and much more relaxed.
