Dunkield
On behalf of a mate, does anyone know of any active shooting grounds near Basingstoke please? Three Counties would appear to have to have gone belly up, and he knows about Wallers Ash and Test Valley, but seems to think there is one near Hook? Chard
Stuart, Not too many in Hants, try these: http://www.roundwoodshooting.co.uk/Images.html Cat. Roundwood does look rather nice
Catamong
Chard, Yes it's a super ground, if Worsley is the "Skoda", then Roundwood is the "Ferrari" of shooting grounds. They used to host the Beretta World, now that WAS a proper shoot. It's pretty much what you'd expect down here in the effluent South, you Northerners don't know what you're missing. Cat.

bisondan
Three counties is still going, they run a 100-birder every fortnight (but you can shoot 50 or 70) which is quite challenging. Fibre wad only, nice little club-house where they do hot & cold drinks, burgers, bacon-rolls ect, yearly membership £50 (you get your 1st round of 100 clays free) then it's £25 per round of 100, non-members is £28 per round. They sell gamebore blue diamond cartridges The one near Hook might be the Hartley Witney gun-club who run a 70-birder at Andwell every fortnight again fibre wad only, £15 for the 1st round, £10 for the 2nd, and £5 for the 3rd. Facilities a little more basic than 3 counties as you can only get a free tea or coffee and a biscuit as they run it from the back of a lorry. Eley first cartridges on sale.
