Lloyd90
Just bought the first shotty, Think its an Italian one. S/S with fairly open chokes, dont know what they are exactly! Any ideas how to know ? there fixed btw. I think there 1/4. Anyways got it off a bloke recommended by a friend (the blokes a RFD!) gave a lifetime warranty so cant complain. Said if ANYTHING goes wrong just bring it back n he can fix it or give money back. Was a great buy and wasnt too far away either  Pretty chuffed. Cant wait to get out tomorrow and blast some crows, rabbits and pigeons haha

As tweedledee says, any gunshop will have a brass choke gauge, probably including the RFD bloke. You've probably chosen well for a rough shooting gun. Baldrick
This may sound fussy, but a brass choke gauge won't give you a definitive answer - it only measures the muzzle diameter. Choke is the actual degree of constriction over the last few inches of the barrel leading up to the muzzle. You need to find an RFD with a bore gauge, who will be able to measure the actual constriction. I'd worry more about the fit of the gun than the choking.
