BANNING AIGUNS.....

ANYONE COULD KILL ANOTHER WITH...

A STANLEY KNIFE

A BALLPOINT PEN

A BUTTER KNIFE

A SCREWDRIVER

A HAMMER

A BRICK

A PIECE OF ROPE

ITS NOT THE ITEM ITS THE PERSON USING IT.(AS YOU ALL KNOW)

SOLUTION......

HARDER PENALTIES.

LIFE MEANS LIFE,NOT OUT EARLY FOR GOOD BEHAVIOR.

GET THESE PARLIAMENT BIGWIGS,WHO GO WEEKLY SHOPPING IN THIER JAGS AND LEXUS' AND PAY WITH THIER FAT CREDIT CARD TO GET IN THE REAL WORLD.

ALL THEY DO IS "HECKLE" LIKE THE TWO OLD **** IN THE BALCONY ON"THE MUPPETS".

I remember rolling up newspapers and bending them in half when I was a lad - you could band a nail into wood with them... I think they were called "Millwall Bricks". If you can use a newspaper as a weapon then almost everything should be banned. :good:

Also, newspapers are quite dangerous in other respects...

Eating chips from them - clogged arteries and poison from the print

Lighting fires with them - arson / bad for the environment

Reading them - the most dangerous thing of all!! 90% of a newspaper is pure PR (bull****)! :hmm:

Air rifles are comparitively safe ???

I do not often reply online, but I think the above is spot on. The so called PC ***-holes are taking the guts out of the country, it is the person behind the gun not the gun itself. One day they will wake out of their do good coma and just realise what they have done not only to everyday Joe Blogs, but OUR Nation.

I think banning airguns is a none starter and certainly a vote killer. In a recent survey on this very subject the overwhelming response (78%) was for NO ban. However I believe some form of stricter control is inevitable given recent tragic history. How many of us would or could argue against that if it saves just one more child's life. Alright it would be inconvenient but that's all; inconvenient. I'll trade inconvenience for a child's life any day.
