steve_b_wales
Bullet Boy and me bought some of the above ammo. While they seemed to be fast, there was a lot of variation in the power. Maybe we bought a bad batch. Overall, they are good.
Dead-Eyed Duck
Most of the HV ammo that I have tried over the years has been a lot more variable than normal subs ammo. Ask yourself - why do I need HV ammo other than the fiddle factor? Some subs ammo is accurate (less than 1" groups) up to 80 yards, and all you have to do is to allow for the drop at this range. If you after more than 100 yards range then you need to upgrade to a 17 hmr. Sorry if I sound rather blunt, but you can't get a quart out of a pint pot etc Don
casts_by_fly
they kill well, but don't group the best in my gun. For the price of a box, give them a try and see how they do for you. Thanks Rick

THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
I've tried 8 types of HV rounds & concluded the acuracy is not as good as subs & only push your available range out by a few yards in real terms. Out to 100yds your better off with subs. If you want flat traj' then try some Stingers, if you can get them to group they are better but as the aim point is verry different (as with all HV's) then if you mix shooting with subs then you have quite a few aim points to remember so you might as well put up with loopy subs. HV's make a nice bang though. Why are subs more popular than HV's ? Your about to find out Velocitors are worth trying as well as Mini Mags. Cyclones to compare with the Yellow Jackets & you might as well try RWS & Lasers. Try one try them all. Good luck.
