Rossenarra
OK, I’ve ordered the rifle (.223 Lite…for foxing)…..and I’ve decided on the scope…a German Schmidt and Bender 8x56 fixed…..so my next question would be where is the cheapest place to buy one of these??? tulkyuk
Damn good scope, but i bet you will be after a Varible one soon - my advise, get a variable power scope to start of with, whether it be S&B, Swaro, Ziess, or other and you will save yourself cash in the long run. plinker
i would agree get a variable if you want to use your rifle to its full potential.
A Sick Old Man
They are £515 here http://www.totalfield.com/riflescopes/schm...iflescope_1.htm The only snag with a variable scope is that you do lose a bit of light gathering capability, 8 X is pretty powerful so should do the trick. Anyone ever used totalfield.com? Their website isn't working (the ordering section) and I'm a bit wary as they seem considerably cheaper than the competition. Interested in customer service, backup etc Ta!
