  2. Neither are really thirsty cars when you look at the performance and size of them. I have had both and they both 30 mpg. Current x5 m50d 390 bhp does 29 mpg driven hard.👍

  6. my amarok has pulled everyday, tried a Isuzu and everybody still used the amarok for towing the trailers, it feels more planted to the road.
  7. Test drove a new l200 and a Isuzu on Friday because I,m thinking of trading in the amarok as its 5 year old, both of them felt very poor compared to the VW, new hilux due out in next 6 months so I'll keep the VW until I can test drive the new hilux.
  8. I've handeld a longthorne and thought the balance and handling were excellent and the finishing to the stock were as good as you will see anywhere. Nice 20 bore for me one day!

  12. I've had navara's 52 plate d22 and later shape 56 plate then a 59 plate ranger. I preferred the nissans to the ford, but I've now got a vw amarok and it's the best by far tows plant trailer,cattle trailer and goes off road nearly everyday,been totally trouble free over nearly 4 years of abuse. Great off-road hill decent, diff lock etc. navara's available on a good deal at minute as new model due out soon!

  15. i,ve had 3 pairs of muck boots and liked them until i tried a pair of seals,the muckboots aren,t in the same league and i wear them allday everyday including 6hours in a milking parlour everyday
  16. i,ve got 3 s&b,2x 8x56 hungarian and a german 3-12x50 all 30mm tubes,just more adjustment on a 30mm than a inch tube,i like the 3-12x50 for everyday use,and according to there website its twilight factor is better than the 8x56.i like to be able to turn the mag down for woodland stalking.can,t go wrong with any s&b built like a battleship

  19. i have both .22 and 17hmr,the 17,s the first out of cabinet 9 out of 10,they are noisey but i find that rabbits don,t know were the sounds coming from with a mod fitted.i,d always have both though,.22hornet great round for fox up to 150 yards but a bit to expensive if you don,t reload,plus you might not want a centrefire.

  22. i have a new ranger and it does it for key and lights,does my head in,can it be turned off?
