LEFTY478
Two possible meet ups, if anyone here's interested: Sunday 26th October at the Larkhill Clay Target Shooting Club - £20 for 100 sporting, no plastic wads restriction. They also have Skeet, DTL, ABT and a compact layout - all at £5/25 clays, IIRC. Or, Saturday 15th November at PIRBRIGHT CLAY SHOOTING CLUB (fibre only) for a small shoot being arranged by a member of Arrse, with proceeds to a Forces charity. This is on the Army Training Regiment barracks next to Bisley camp, not the Bisley Shooting Ground. I will post costs/more details when I have them. Bagsy
Lefty, I wouldn't mind doing the pirbright shoot in November, I'll have to confirm nearer the time. Looking at the pics on the two sites it looks the better shoot, the Larkhill shoot looks, well, too much like a grey miserable Army training area to me. Looks like your old mob have destroyed everything in sight

LEFTY478
£35 per person and he will supply the cartridges, trophies, plus teas/coffees. This is for a 25 cartridge warm up and a 50 cartridge competition shoot. OK, it took a lot longer to get the details than I'd expected. So, 15th November, Pirbright Clay Shooting Club on the Army Training Regiment. A small scale social/fund raiser arranged by a member of ARRSE. Some of the attendees are relative/complete novices, hence the format. There will be some trophies/prizes and we will be hoping for a £5-a-man donation, to a Forces charity. The ground is quite similar (unsuprisingly) to Bisley Shooting Ground, with 14 stands. There may be oportunity to shoot more than the stated, but I can't promise it, although the last time I shot there we did 'top up' the supplied quantity of carts, with a (cough) few of our own. Please contact me for more details... Lefty
