sharpshot
I'm looking for a new .222 and was thinking about ( and qiute like the looks of ) the Tikka T3. Has anybody got one ? How do they shoot? Any recomendations would be much appreciated thanks Sharpshot
njc110381
I have a T3 in 6.5x55, it's a nice rifle. The trigger isn't bad and the build quality seems ok too. It's pretty accurate. I should add though, take a look at the CZ527. I have the Varmint model in .223 and that's a good rifle. I bit on the heavy side for stalking but nice all the same. You can get a sporter weight version which I sometimes wish I'd bought! The trigger on the CZ is amazing for the money
steve_b_wales
I have a T3 Lite in .243 and one in .308. They are brilliant in my opinion. My mate Bullet Boy has one in .22-250 and I know that he would agree about the quality and accuracy of these rifles.
Baldrick
I had a T3 Varmint Stainless in .223, which I sold and replaced with the same model in .243 Win. With factory ammunition, the .243 will shoot 1/4" groups at 100 yards in the right conditions. The .223 shot 1/2" groups. I've always been pretty impressed by the trigger on the T3, and the general value of the gun. If you are buying a rifle for foxing and stalking, buy the Lite version. I find the Varmint too heavy and poorly balanced for carrying all day (no, I am not a 95lb weakling), but is spot-on for use from a static position. Whilst I have been happy with my .243, it's being replaced by a Cooper Montana Varminter in .243 AI.

straightshooter1
I have a t3 lite in .22-250 with a wildcat p8 predator mod and leupold 3-9x50 scope and all I can say it is the dogs ********
njc110381
Have you just got the slot for it or is it replacing a rifle you have now that's getting a little tired? If you haven't done the paperwork yet it may be worth changing to .223, the ammo is more plentiful and it's pretty much the same (or at least it is easier to get around here)
bullet boy
The Tikka T3 Lite is an extremely accurate rifle. The action of the bolt is as smooth as silk too.I would recommend this rifle to anyone-I love mine.
auto culto
as said you could do far worse for your money but I would also look at the cz527 they are v good. Cant fault mine and I know it outshoots three t3's by a longshot
