Si-Bore
Hey guys I have asked the farmer who I have known for a while if it would be ok to use a SG on the land behind my house. His fields are 200m from my back gate and over a quiet road. He said no prob! There is a great flightline and no shortage of pigeon. It is 250m from a housing estate and I was hoping no one would complain. So far they havent and I shot it yesterday afternoon and got 20 pigeon and 7 more this morning. Better than nothing (which is probably what I would have got on the other fields). The field is ploughed and they are not keen on decoying as there is not the food there for them but the sheer volume of pigeon that fly over allows a few shots. triscrx
250m isnt very far. Maybe worth popping down and letting them know if they hear gunshots its you and not to worry. maybe tell them you will only be firing on certain days as well as they may worry you are going to be at it at all hours/days and complain due to the noise. Do you have any pics of the land/proximity of the road/houses?

Easier than being told to place my gun down and lie down on the floor before being handcuffed. Cheers guys Si
