I got six and my mate got five pink foots. Mum and Dad and my three sisters all have a goose for xmas (Excellent). Thank god me old man is plucking theres. I plucked and sorted my three out on saturday, took bloody ages me and the dog looked like we had been in a blizzard I have two whole birds in the freezer and i breasted one. Soaked the breast in salt water, cooked them tonight in the oven, They are bloody lovely Good luck to anyone who maybe going soon, hope you have a good result. What a buzzzzz. If any bird will test your resolve to pluck them , a goose will do it! I've started to do it when I get home when they are still warm, bit easier I reckon. They come to this field every year, last year it was spuds the year before beet. at one stage there was a good 500 on the ground, it looked and sounded amazing.
