seisobs
Ha again guy's and thanks for your replies to my previous posts. Due back home in a week or so from sea. I want to buy a lamping kit for my Suzuki Jimny to shoot rabbits on my permissions. I will be alone most of the time and will be using my Sako quad LR. Can anyone suggest a good lamping set up. Many thanks Jake.
richie223
anything with lightforce written on it
tuck1
I think if you will ever go towards cenrefire than you might as well get a lightforce or similar, I use a tracer max and find it fine for bunnies.
Guest topshot_2k
lightforce 140 gets my vote
weejohn
as tuck1 said if you intend using it for a centrefire get the lightforce 170 but if its for bunny bashing the tracer max pro which has the dimmer switch is ideal , alternatively buy the 170 with the dimmer switch for the best of both worlds but i dont like the positioning of the dimmer and it is very pricey
Dave-G
So do you want a lamp to fit to the Jimny - or to fit to the rifle? Are you likely to lamp on foot at all? If so a lightforce might get in the way or keep getting knocked off "zero"
seisobs
Hi again Guy's I would like to mount it on the roof of the Jimny - yes, drill a big hole in it - It doesn't rain that much in Scotland. I would also like the option to remove it and stand beside the motor using it. I don't really fancy one of these gun mounted lamps. Cheers. weejohn
try this link , this is all i could suggest as i dont know any lamp which could be fixed to a vehicle and still be easily removed to be used next to the vehicle. http://www.deben.com/lights_lamping/lightf...ort-a-light.php
Dave-G
I have seen reference to one that fits through the roof but can't seem to find it now. Here's another option: clicky here
