If you use stingers the silencer will be useless as the stinger is supersonic and you will still get the crack far better to use better field craft the bunnys can only get scared if you miss

Aguiller hyper velocity ammo is better than stingers .cci stingers would not hold 1-1/2 groups with any of my .22s

Hi Tony2

I think the only thing you will achieve by using CCI stingers, is to make the rabbits even wearier. I think you might need to address the reason your rabbits are wary, are you over shooting the land? Do you use the same routine every time e.g. same start time, start point and route, same vehicle?

I use the same Eley Sub HP as you mention and in my opinion you can’t buy a better round so i don't think your ammo is to blame, however if you have a varied routine and the quarry is for the dogs and not the table, it might be time to look at a .17 HMR and sit well back.

Try a new routine it might just be enough to catch out Mr Rabbit.

Happy Hunting

Got 150 of them sat in the cabinet (bought 200) - dammed things stick, misfire, wont cycle in my CZ, aARRRRRRRRRRR - waste of money. Missed two once in a life time shots - so dumped them in the cabinet and wont use them. Yellow jackets on the other hand are a marvell! Not one has misfired - they are High Vel - where as the CCI's were sub - but for that crack l know l'm going to put down what l've pointed the CZ at!
