Psyxologos
Title (and subtitle) say it all really. I need to buy a shotgun (my first) so I ried a few in the shop and I liked this one. The gunsmith went down from £850 to £750 as I was referred by a childhood friend of his. Is this gun worth owning as first shotgun? Is the price reasonable? Thanks! JRDS
Good guns but the price is not especially cheap just the going rate.
Catamong
Yes, got to agree with JRDS on that one, it needs to be in mint condition to fetch that sort of price. Excellent guns, with good build quality. Cat.
Windknot
Check the serial number to get the year of manufacture: 1 Z 2 Y 3 X 4 W 5 V 6 T 7 R 8 P 9 N 0 M So a gun with MM in the serial no. would be a 2000 vintage, NZ would be '91, and so on. But the 70 is a great gun, no doubt.
Psyxologos
Thanks a lot. I think this is the gun I shot in my lessons and I was very happy with it, this is why I was looking for a Miroku. Thanks for the date markings, I will check these out. thanks again! Fuji Shooter
I picked up a mint 2000 MK70 Grade 1 a couple of weeks ago - not a mark on it paid £800 from a local dealer. More that I wanted to pay but it was mint so what the hell. Great gun just need some decent chokes for it now! Buy it, you want regret it and when you outgrow it you can easily offload it.
