rabbithunter2008
I went out other day to get some more land to shot on. Farmer said yes but he would not sign anything It just a case of just don't bother Would it be legal to shoot on his land without a signed from? Beardo
i wouldn't risk it - he could turn round and say he's never given you permission should you damage a crop/livestock etc. and then you'd been in deep ****

dave1372
You should be ok with verbal agreement. If it really bothers you I would suggest you wait until after you have given him his bottle of Whiskey for Xmas and ask him again in the new year. Ferret Master
Did he refuse to sign something or just say 'Oh don't worry about that.'? FM Edited November 13, 2008 by Ferret Master
Dirty Harry
What would you be shooting? Harry
rimfire4969
Most of my shoots don't want to bother with paperwork, they are farmers with better things to do with their time. I used to worry about this but speaking to some other older shooters they have nothing on paper for any of their shoots including their rough shoot where they release about 250 pheasants.
