Beardo
was looking at that on their site the other day, like the look of it - i've fired a .410 hushpower before and was quite impressed
chrispti
I have the bikal 410 hushpower and a mossberg 410 pump hushpower, and I rate them, they are very useful tools!
sitsinhedges
I have a 20g and .410 hushpower, the 20g is far more versatile but that double looks clumsy as hell to me. Wouldn't sell my single though.

Bleeh
Me thinks I will be sending them a 12 to ''hush'' I've fired some 12b Hushed, there not as good as you might think they would be, Rather useful is your blasting into the sky (say, after ducks, or something) but when the sound has something to rebound off, there not quiet as impressive as a .410, and I wouldn't really call it a tool, there more of a toy. Also, they look like bazooka's
drut
"I wouldn't really call it a tool, there more of a toy." I use a Pedretti 12g Hushpower & Baikal .410 with Hushpower add on silencer as tools for pest control,I simply could not get away with the noise of a normal shotgun on 3 of my permissions and some things the rimfire cannot cater for. A couple of years ago I handled (but not shot) a Laporte Pro II silenced 12g o/u, although a mismatch between beautiful rear & strange looking forend it felt nice and more like a normal shotgun but I could not justify the cost (: £1175) for my use. The guy who owned the gun told me he believed the base gun was an Investarm,it certainly looked better than the current offering but I see there is still one for sale on "Guntrader" so can't have been a popular choice. I cant seem to find a pic of the laporte any where on the net? seen the add on guntrader, also just been told that they had problems with the barrels blowing up??? The new investarm 20b o/u hushpower looks good but £700 + for a £250 moderatly good shot gun??? is it worth the money and will it last
mickanles
yes got one of these in the cabinet, very quiet with subsonic cartridges, but they don't have a lot of clout , 3 inch chambers.
drut
http://www.armurerie-auxerre.com/catalog/i.../swing-trap.jpg gives a pic of Laporte albeit with a paint job,the one I handled had nice woodwork.

vole
I have shot stuff in places with my Pedretti 12g Hushpower where i could not have done with a normal 12g. 32g of 6 is plenty enough lead for any crow or rabbit so dont get the impression they lack power in any way.
