MM
cloth tape seems to stick to itself, rather than the stock.
Foxer
Did camo tape my lightnings stock a couple of years ago, it lasted quite a long time really. I did find though that places where you hold the gun like around the pistol grip it peels up where the tape meets, but that could have been my fault for doing it wrong . no-mar tape was what i used and it did leave some residue on the stock but came off easy enough with an oily rag. para90
get an an army scrim and elestic bands, wynd it were you want and great grip just and more bands to a sertain sections. i actualy pad the pistol grip out with them to profile my hand shape to it . you can strip it back to wood anytime without any damage or marks to your expensive riflle :yp:
bullet boy
The No-mar tape is good but if you decided to have a better and permanent camo finish then it maybe worth the extra expence and having it dipped by Hydrographics. Tug
Gunsock... ...or a shroud (old net suit trousers cut to fit) Easily removed for drying and cleaning your gun, doesn't leave a sticky mess on your stock if you leave it on too long and most importantly doesn't look tatty after a couple of trips out.
