myzeneye
had to send the montana back...... i ordered a size larger then what i normally wear and would you believe i need a bigger size still !!! so to anyone thinking of ordering one online, id say go two sizes bigger than normal.... it didnt fit on the shoulders/arm length which for a shooting jacket, i found the cut to be poor ? id have been happy with a sas smock but the threat of being wet puts me off. i have the dpm gortex, but the lack of pockets and amount of noise it makes are an issue..... i must say, after looking around and trying a few coats on, some of the quality on some of the more reputable makes is poor..... very disappointing... not sure what to try next ? Well, as we recommended today when you told us of your plight...... an XXXXXXXL size (two beer barrel pack) might do the job as long as you have lots of tucks and elastic panels to fit your size. Big_Sam
I wear two, this when the weather is cold: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...&hasJS=true No rustle, and stupidly warm. And a normal DPM ex-army for the summer.
Ozzy Fudd
should say ive recently bought an army goretex jecket, £40; had one years ago and forgot how useful they were, waterproof, windproof, can be carried in a pouch and good size pockets
realtreedave
dont discount ex army cotton jackets because of them not being waterproof ,just treat them with warmed up beeswax this seems to keep most weather out for several hours and makes them quick to dry.fabsil also works well but it stinks the house out and has to be reaplied more often
