THE MOON

WENT OUT LAST NIGHT LOOKING FOR RABBITS ON 1 OF THE PRERMISSONS I HAVE. I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS ALOT LESS RABBITS OUT THAN WHEN I WENT A WEEK OR SO AGO. :good:

IT WAS THE SAME SORT OF NIGHT BOTH TIMES, SLIGHT WIND AND FROSTY.BUT WHEN I LOOKED AT CALENDER I SAW THAT IT WAS A FULL MOON TONIGHT AND CAN SORT OF REMBER READING SOMETHING ABOUT THE MOON AND SHOOTING RABBITS.

SO CAN IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE WHEN ITS ITS A FULL MOON OR NEAR TO A FULL MOON OR AM I JUST LOOKING TO DEEP INTO IT AND MY MEMORY IS GOING. :) OR ON THE OTHER HAND IS IT LIKE PIGEONS,SOMETIMES THERE THERE AND SOMETIMES THEY AINT.

The rabbits will see you coming much easier on a clear night with a full moon. Walking on frost is also noisier.

Walked 600 acres with garyb this evening, (not an romantic evening stroll, fear not, we were after a fox!) and it was perfectly clear with a full moon (we were caught by an unexpected clear night) saw one rabbit the entire night and I'm sure you can guess how many foxes we shot....

Avoid a clear night with a full moon at all costs
