They work well for photography purposes.

only photography??

well they are for a while dependin on how many times you use it in 1 area. I rem the 1st time we used it we shot 30 greys and shot several other times out. i no someone that uses it when shootin foxes deadly

at the mo we have 4 or 5 main areas we shoot in, we wouldnt use it all the time and not just in the one area, say one area a monthmaybe, so itd be once every 4 or 5 months?

Hope to get out this afternoon for a shot and will be out tomorrow. shot 7 woodcock on Wednesday

snap!

bought a carton of 7.5s this morning, heading out in half an hour; the shop only had 3's or 7.5's left, and i (stupidly) used all my 6's for clays yesterday, thinking i wouldnt be doing anymore shooting for a couple of weeks

**Please note that the use of these callers (or any other electronic caller available elsewhere) to attract birds for shooting is prohibited in the UK. They are perfectly legal to use for photographic and research purposes on these species however, but we only market this unit as a fox/stoat call.**

out the tandragee road from markethill. not a registered ground or anything, just rough ground that we have use of. pretty well set up, have a few pits dug for traps and posts laid out for dtl, etc.

ah, right, thats what the gunshops must have been selling them as. got you now. im gonna be buying a camera soon, so a crow caller would be useful for that ;)

ive managed to scrounge about 26 no 5's and 6's from a carton full of loose shells, filled the molle pouch with that and got the gun belt full of 7.5's, so that should be enough for an hour or two

so howd we all get on? two of us went out, only got 7 kills between us, best was me blatting a grey back at 40 yards :hmm:

not too annoyed by the small tally though, we discovered a major crow flightline beside my mates house. the crows come in very high at dusk, out of range in fact. we put a few decoys out to try and draw them down, didnt work so we'll be looking for an, eh, legal, yeah thats the word, legal! method of attracting them down....
