henry d
It`s been done before but.............when did you last see a woodpigeon flapping(or correctly-spinning) it`s wings when on it`s descent into the deeks? Never, they glide in and then flap just as they land with in about 1 foot above the ground. Any bird that flaps its wings fast when close to others that are feeding is either spooked or is un-commited. Dead birds are best for magnets. These are based on the deeks the yanks use for shooting duck and they do spin/flap as they descend into the deeks, so they work well for them under the correct conditions. Apparently they work well on ferals but not woodpigeon.
