petrol_head29
hi every body, my names Dan im new hear, i have a few guns, i have a beretta S 686 speishal 0/U, My dads Lames 0/U, a S400 classic, and my new purchase a beretta 303 S/A, ive wanted one of there guns for a while and this one cropped up at a verry resonobal price, the action is very tidy just a few little wear marks on the blueing, the worst bit was the varnish like finish on the woodwork witches seemed to be about 3mm thick! and had chipped and dented, i could see through this though and made my self a little x mas progect, i compleetly striped and reoiled the wood foor a nice deep lustery look instear of in my oppinion that horribal 80's varnish look, i love doing this because you can find some loverly wood under some finishes, see what you all think, heares a before and after shot. GJUK
I can't tell the difference. The pictures you took are quite poor. Do you have a digi camera you could use? Sounds like you've done a good job though Be interested in seeing decent photos of it. J
