neil smith
i would be a bit nervous walking around the country side in camo with one as it can give the wrong impression.lab. And more importantly you will avoid looking like a *** also.ZB Cammo tends to do that a lot N
Ozzy Fudd
cheers, think ill be looking into an m2 then to be honest, im not worried about looking like a *** with a saiga or spas, or anything else for that matter. im looking something that can handle heavy loads, can hold 5+ rounds, is rugged and is reliable. i would probably end up using it on pigeons at some point, just to see, but as it looks like ill be heading to latvia after boar and moose at least once a year now (til i get rid of the gf anyway :o ) ill need something that covers those points. just need to check latvian gun laws when im there this week, but at least i know what to look for
Breastman
I've used my M2 for woodies and with decent results, sometimes that 3rd, 4th or even 5th cartridge is just the ticket when the little b@stards start jinking and flaring! I've never used more than 5 rounds but then the pigeons on the fields i shoot normally only come down in between pairs and 5's, i've not been lucky enough to get a whole flock come in at once but i could imagine getting through the full 10 carts in the right circumstances. As for game shooting with them, aside from that being illegal, the shoot manager/game keeper would likely turf you out immediately. And thats only after he's picked himself up after fainting from either shock or laughter! Mark Edited January 6, 2009 by Breastman
smokingdragon
Have a look at a Baikal MP-153, 2 1/2" - 3 1/2", very rugged and reliable. (not reliable on 24g 2 1/2 shells though!!) Simon
