Lifetime members?

I became a life CPSA member in 1996, and have had more than 20yrs members benefits as a result. I think it was £250-00 then, so a good deal.

If you are a regular member and think you need full members benefits for 20yrs or more it will be a good long term investment, and if you are a veteran already there is a lower cost of life membership, only £350-00 instead of the usual £800-00.

how can life membership just be 20yrs :good:

shouldnt it be, well....life?

a £1,000.00 is a fair wad to be throwing at what is well...a bit of paper. Id stick with the yearly payments as it wont sting as much each year. Yes you will be paying more in the long run and may be subject to price rises.....if so, you can always get insured by someone else if needs be.

there are other groups apart from BASC :o

What I'm saying s that I have had 20yrs of membership since becoming a life member, and the cost has therefore become positive. Anyone who expects to want to use the associations benefits for more than 20 years will make a positive investment by becoming a life member, and if you are a vet already, it would be positive in under 10 yrs.

nope not at all...i was just saying. With todays current climate companies of all sizes are struggling. At this time people are looking to cut down on the luxeries. Maybe a BASC membership could be one of those money saving things that go in turn of a cheaper alternative.
