pavman
One of my Farmers called me last night to ask if I had lost a hand Axe! He went round to fill a feeder and found it near a Maize strip about 100 yards from the nearest public road (so it could not have been thrown from a passing car) he said its not rusty and has a good blade so its not been there long, he knows I keep a small lop saw with me to prune back the odd overhanging branch and thought I may also have an Axe, There is no damage to near by trees etc and no ***** camp near by Now as I drive around the area at night mostly on my own should I be worried
Baldrick
We get the odd half-wit inspired by Ray Mears' antics, camping out in our woods near the footpaths. These cretins love to spend their weekends cooped up in bivvy bags eating ration packs, reading Soldier of Fortune magazine and the Field & Trek catalogue, and doing other tedious Walty activites. They occasionally leave shiny kit behind in their hurry to leave when alarmed by strange noises in the night. They're harmless people. 955i
Wouldn't think it's anything to worry about, after all, the Mad Axeman hasn't got his axe anymore. Now he is just a Madman Edited January 14, 2009 by 955i
