Topgunners
Quick afternoon session today in Warwickshire on osr and shot 65 in horrible wet spray weather. Now the birds are finally feeding and the weather ain't quite right. Still, nice to see them decoying. Anybody else have much joy today? Staffs-Shooter
Complete washout! Set up on a field which had 1k+ on friday, today (sorry saturday) no pigeon, shot 3 between two seperate hides & moved 12 mile to a fresh field of rape. Plenty of woodies when we arrived however one bang & gone. ended the day with 15 & 1 crow to 2 guns! Still the dog had a few quality retrieves out of the wood behind us. Topgunners
Thats the only trouble staffy. You either spook the flock or are lucky and they WANT THE FIELD, and they stay or come bag for a big bag. All trial & error. Dave K
The Sniper
Topgunners, You've just inspired me to keep going at them, as I have had a lot of days out just lately where they have just flown away after one shot :<

Staffs-Shooter
Its the Shoot AGM on Saturday morning so this weekend im off to shoot the wood also. Our wood has a flight pond in the middle with a ride/clearing into it which offers an excellent positions to shoot the woodies if the wind is favourable. Roll on a windy saturday

mallinson
Went shooting last weds, thurs and friday. Conditions were different every day, snow, sleet, rain etc. Ended up with 30 pigeons and 6 crows. It was a sight to see pigeons being drawn into the deeks in the middle of what can only be described as a blizzard
