Dave C
Had a walk round my new permission with Jamie yesterday, it turns out to be better land than i first expected, open reedbeds, bracken and woodland, perfect for Rabbit, Pigeon and crow shooting. It was also the first full days shooting for my young Cocker x , i had her out for an hour or so on Thursday afternoon as a practice run and she had a bit of a nightmare, being to excited, but Yesterday she did me proud, walking to heel, being very responsive to the whistle, hunting her heart out and even retreiving her first pigeons without any fuss. Was well chuffed. Fudge An excellent day, great new land and the dog showed real promise. Dave.

Dave C
Thanks for the intrest lads, her sire was a Cocker and the Dam was a Beagle/Russel i think, but i get a different story everytime i talk to him. Anyway she is very much a spaniel and a very versitile bitch, she works with the Terriers and dose a bit of ratting as well. She might do less of other work now i am shooting over her, but over the last 4 weeks she has realy come on. Dave.
