barbel-brad
Hello guys I am going to buy my 1st ever brand new gun have always had second hand guns in the past anyway I am going to buy a semi auto and I have narrowed it down to three that are in my price range and they are all around the same value give or take 2-3 hundred pounds I have no fixed budget that os to say i will spend less than but will spend up to £1300 Max these are my choices. Benelli m2 Comfortech Winchester Super X3 Beretta Extrema 2 Comments please plus and minus points would be good I must admit I am leaning towards the Benelli m2 Comfortech at the moment as I like the reliable side of inertia cycling and less cleaning time. I have not shot any of the above and will try and shoot all three to make my decision but any help and advice would be great. Nelly T
I Have the M2, works perfectly, it feels quite a bit smaller than the Beretta and more "pointable" I have the 26" barrell, all in all very pleased with it, new they are going for around £900 - £1000 I think. To be honest though you have a shortlist of the top auto's there, any one is great gun!
moses
What size chamber do you want? M2 and X3 are 3" I think, extrema 2 is 3.5". If you don't need it for wildfowling I would get a Urika 2, If you want to be able to use 3.5" magnum loads go for the extrema. Personally I think the gas operated Berettas have the edge on the inertia fed Benellis.
ProteuS
I purchased an extrema 2 around november time, and have been more than happy with it. It's superb fun to shoot. very soft recoil, cycles 28g clay cartridges with no problems. I've had it from new and have only had one ejction problems when i tried light clay loads with my first few shots. I can't commment about the other guns, but have shot with a benelli monteferlo and the beretta is the much smoother shooting gun in my opinion. I find the semi auto fits the bill nicely and would certainly recommend the gun to anyone.
