Hi guys perhaps you can help at my local clay ground i was advised to when walking or standing with my semi auto to have it empty that makes common sense and i would always do so anyway. However somebody said that you can get a cartridge with a ribbon attached that you load the gun with and it shows to others that the gun is empty of live carts and has a dummy cartridge in it with the ribbon hanging from the gun. If so what is one called and where can i get one did not like to walk into the guns shop and look like a **** hence the question on the forum LOL. Thanks guys in advance Andrew Bradley

Very slow in my area off Northants the odd bird about but not on the decoys very well i only have rape to shoot over and the ones i have had have been full of Beans / Peas / and tree buds. Should pick up when the rape has been sprayed off or laid flat i live in hope LOL Regards Andrew Bradley

Hi guys i only have OSR to shoot over and the birds are just going straight over it wont come near Magnet or floaters or any type of decoy. The odd one i am getting has a crop full of buds / peas / beans / clover and all manner of pulses but they are not on the OSR in my area at all. Best times are early morning and late afternoon through to evening it is very very slow however i am getting a few crows throught the day. Andrew Bradley

I only say that as i have paid £140 for 1000 32grm plastic wad D+J Carts it was the last 1000 they had and i know a lot of people dont like them for various reasons but i think they are great. Brad

only used them once had 250 good cart i liked them but the price puts me off however your price looks ok to me Brad

Well this is how it goes got up about 6.00am windy overcast mild perfect made my flask loaded the car and drove the 10 mins to the fields. Now on the way i did not see a pigeon and the thought did cross my mind thats strange got to the field and stood by the car watching the sky for half hour no birds nothing on the normal flight line nothing in the woods nothing on the fields but a lot of crows. Thought oh well they will be about picked a location that has been good to me in the past and is under a flight line set up two groups of decoys my magnet and four floaters what pigeon could resist LOL. As it happens all of them well i only saw 4 all morning only fired 3 carts and had one crow for my trouble never mind thats shooting i would like to know where they all went for the day though. It all depends on the crop realy but i have been putting out to groups of 10-12 shell decoys on woblers say 20 - 35 yards yards out from my hide with about 35 yards between them. Then putting my four bouncer things i made in a diamond shape behind them and then my magnet in front of the hide about 15 - 20 yards out This has bee over rape with the wind behind me however went out this morning four hours 1 crow and only saw about 5-6 pigeons in the distance LOL Regards

Just brought a Benelli M2 Comfortec tried both the Barreta AL31 and the Ulrika and a winchester cant remember the model the Benilli suited me great but all are good guns just down to what suits you sir. Regards Brad
