Your pup looks wobbly on its back legs because it is in fact still a......PUP! Before you go deciding to change the pups food have a look at its stools (i.e. its 5h1te) what you want is nice dry round *****, not scuttery brown pools of diarrohea. ***** that you would be proud to lay yourself! How do you know its a bit underweight, are its ribs sticking out through its sides? is it eating its food? have you brought it to the vet? al4x
mince won't do any harm as a supplement, might be worth getting a decent brand of tinned food to moisten the chudleys. Its what mine has and when you have a breed you need to get to eat plenty to keep weight on it works well. Also mine has her food left down all day and just topped up in the evening, fine if your dog isn't greedy and takes a bit of the excitement out of feeding time and stops them bolting food. obviously doesn't work with fat labs
