scifiden
Lefty or righty Nice gun Lee, but i would wait a while as things will get worse before they get better (sad but true) & you might pick one up a lot cheaper in a few months. harv
righty or lefty they look extremely well put together with some exceptional timber and have had good reviews but as always lee you gotta handle them and if possible put a few cartridges thru them before buying. Chard
I would definitely PM Peter De La Mare. I think he's had a couple of them, think he's a bit of a fan of them
robinhood69
I did a lot of research into this range,Peter De La Mere answered the threas a couple of times and seems to be the chap to talk to about this range.Ive spoken to a few Gun shop owners,if fact one mentioned the range to me last week, and they have a good reputation and its growing. The Jaspe just felt like it weighted nothing when i handled it,iT seemed to be asthetically great at least up to a Beretta standard.Im not biased as i eventually got a Zoli which was a hell of a lot less bucks,if i hadnt found that i would have gone for the Magnus Jaspe.I think second hand values arnt gonna be up to Browning /Beretta thou so watch out if your gonna chop it in any time soon RH
leaseone
Look for a used one, their value drops like a stone
crowstalker501
I bought a summit from malmo guns last year, after trying a used one on site. The maxum is a great looking gun but was a bit out of my price range.
Peter De La Mare
They are great guns imho. Lots of features normally found on high end guns. Only problem I've had is that the stocks can be overtightened (by a ham fisted ****) that can cause problems where the stock meets the action near the lever. This hasn't happened to any examples from what I can see, I'm just unlucky!! But, for what you get for the money, there's little better on the market right now. The William Evans gun that retails for nearly 10k is basically a Guerini Maxum with barrels that have been blued in England.
viking
thanks for the answers guys, it sounds like it could be a goer as iv just fallen in love with them, shot one on thursday, 150 carts on sporting and it felt like it was hand made for me, cheers, lee
Poacher
Guerini's build some lovely guns at decent prices, I would chose one over a Beretta every day of the week.. Peter De La Mare
Really Yes. It's a Guerini, but with William Evens Blueing of barrels and hand cut checkering on the stock, solid tapered rib and different shaped fore end. http://www.sportinggun.co.uk/guns/298755/W...gun_review.html http://www.thefield.co.uk/gunreviews/26600...gun_review.html Edited April 13, 2009 by Peter De La Mare
