AndyCM
What sort of shotgun?
Ozzy Fudd
shotgun for ranges up to 40m on moving targets, .17 hmr for longer range on stationary targets (vermin/game etc)
dpile1
For my .17HMR I put the following reasons for ownership: Control of Corvids, Rabbits, Pigeons, Foxes and other pests on land over which I have permission to control these pests. As for shotgun just say Pests, Vermin and possibly close range Fox along with game and clay pigeon shooting. Basically that's what I said and I was given them. al4x
they're two completely different kinds of shooting and two separate licenses. Simple answer would be winged game and vermin for the shotgun and rabbits and vermin for the rifle. You won't be asked to justify one or the other though
Browning GTS
The difference between between a sgc and fac is anyone can own a shotgun the police have to prove you cant eg criminal record all you have to say is you want it for clays. With a fac you have to prove to them why you want it, eg target shooting club or pest control, but you have to have suitable land or be a member of a club
