tim123
The guy at my local gun shop is putting a package together for me. A ruger 10 22, an SAK sound mod and a BSA sweet scope. He'll hopefully be ringing me this week with a price. Can anyone recommend a better scope for less thean £100 or a sound mod that would suit the rifle better. Also is there any parts that should be upgraded on the ruger? Cheers All
Lloyd90
Mod is fine, scope no so great I hear some are good but alot are bad. I assume its the BSA Sweet 22 ? As the 17 would obv be useless on a 22lr. You could probally pickup a nice Hawke scope for under £100, Id defo go with one of them over the BSA B)
Baldrick
Buy the Burris Fullfield 3-9x50 that I have advertised on here? It's significantly better quality than any BSA scope, and ideal on a 10/22.
welshwarrior
Sak if great just replaced my paker hale with 1 for my 10/22. Scope are ok I've heard but there are better, I have an old Tasco thats always worked well. Replace the recoil buffer with a rubber one, fit an extended mag release and either an auto bolt release (i'll sell you one if you want ) or a CST last shot bolt catch. All works for me I also change the stock as the standard one was a bit short.

tim123
Probably going to change the scope for a either a Hawke endurance or a Hawke night-eye. Where's the best place to get the bits from for the ruger's. Seen a fair few companies here that sell bits.
