Fisherman Mike
Im always loathe to tip up Horses for the national as the race is such a one off and so many things can happen... and very often the best horse doesnt win. However, I have backed Tom Georges Historic at 200 to 1 ew. early in the year Whether he will get in or not remains to be seen. Two which take my eye are John Jo O,Neils Clan Royal ridden by A P McCoy. I was in the Local near his training centre of Jackdaws Castle last week and all the talk amongst the lads was about this horse. Its owned by the Legendary J.P. McManus and it could be the one to give a real boost to a dismal season for the trainer. I understand the horse has been working very well indeed. Also, Lucinda Russells 9 year old Gelding Strong Resolve which will get a run as he as been rated higher than several possible runners on the same weight. All ground comes alike to this Horse who is a sound jumper and stays well. I suspect he will be one of the major players come Saturday. Thats my selections for what its worth but on a race of this type I write the money off and its a bonus if I get a return. What do you guys fancy and why Ps. If Historic does get a run he will go off like a scolded cat so hang on to your hats... !!!! and your betting slips.

jonno 357
Webber Friday 2.00 Trabolgan Winner of the Royal & Sunalliance Chase at Cheltenham Has run & won on Gd, Gs and Hy goings 2.35 Coat of Honour 3 wins from 3 over jumps, screaming out for a stiff 2 miles. Howard Johnson's horses are buzzing at the moment. this hores is owned by Graham Wylie, who had a fanastic festival With plenty of flat hores in the race the pace should go at a fair clip 3.10 Moscow Flyer Say no more about this fine beast from Jessica's stable 3.45 Longshanks A bit of each way on John James I think this horse of Kim Baileys in a sleeper 4.20 This is a very competitive Grade 1 Hurdle Brewster Idle Talk I would this Mike will be having a punt of Idle Talk with it coming from the T R George stable

I was going to tip Idle talk on the forum tomorrow once I had the chance to talk to my connection tonight... I have tipped this horse on the Forum before and I know it is very well regarded in the George Camp I think whether it runs Friday depends on the going. Historic is also in the Topham on Friday and might run here if balloted out of the National. But a horse I shall be having a big ew punt on in the Topham on Friday is Paul Nicholls Spring Margot which stays well, jumps well and has a feather weight of 10st 3lb and the assistance of Christian Williams in the saddle. This guy is the next McCoy, Dunnwoody and Scudamore in my opinion. Good luck Webber. FM
rb5037
Mike, hows about you put a £10 on a horse of your choice for me. Use the £10 you owe me from last time. Think i'll just pick a number and choose the closest horse to that.

OK mate as your so cheeky and in the 40% tax payers bracket ( Along with me ) I shall stake £5.00 ew on Innox should we get a return I shall take out my tenner and your tenner and donate any winnings to Save the Children. Best way is to take a baseball bat to relieve them of their dosh, cuts the odds of losing.

apbuild
DONT forget, The Grand National has been postponed by a short time to allow the tv coverage of that royal **** marrying the posh nag!!! What a farce!!!!!! When I say postponed, It is still on the same day, only at a different time to usual.
digger
1: avoid grey horses as only two have won this race 2: aviod mares as only 13 have won,the last in 1951 3: same with favourites as only 11 have won since 1900 (last was earth summit in 1998 ) 4: look at the weights as 22 out of the 25 last nationals have been won by horses carrying less than 11 stone. so,going on the above and my "tipping" form go for a grey mare thats favourite and carrying 12 st plus :*) my pick at the moment is joly bey (general 16/1),a horse that jumps well and we are due an amateur jockey winning this race.agree with fm that ap`s ride is a good one. digger
they are all pretty much the same but bet365 isnt too bad.have a look in the back of a tabloid on fri/sat and all will offer you a free £25 bet on the race for registering.it will be a win single but its free and if it comes in at 16/1 then happy days
old rooster
If the weather forecast is anything like right look for one that's been trained to jump snow drifts
