Doc Holliday
I was working at a "castle" yesterday where I went on a rough shoot before Christmas last year. Turns out the guy who owns it lets folk come & do a days rough shooting for £65 per head. I thought this sounded quite reasonable seeing as there is a good variety for bagging (pheasant, rabbit, woodies, etc). Just wanted to know what you thought? He does have a small lake with a few ducks on it, but after we shot 3 on our day he came up and asked us to leave the ducks alone, spoil sport. Greenhunter
Its a bit like buying at auction, you pay what its worth to you. If you find it an acceptable rate go for it! Personally, its too rich for me! If you don't mind paying there's a syndicate type organisation, web address is shooting.sh (I think) £350 a year and access to 50+ walked up shoots around the UK and you can go whenever you want. The guy that runs it is OK.
