beretta
a tip. on clays. each shot you take you have to remember it. ie, how much lead etc.. if you miss it, most newcomers do the same again and can't understand why they keep missing, so take every shot the same, and miss more. if you miss the first one giving it 5ft lead, try 7ft on the next one because you know 5ft wont hit it, even if your convinced its right. you have to remember the shot so that you can change where you shoot at the next one. an old saying is if you miss, double it, if you miss again give it nothing. if you remember this and put it to use and your average is about 60% it will put a good 5% on your scores to start with. if you miss, MOVE it or lose it. This is singularly my biggest problem. I must be too bloody minded. i manage to snapped myself out of it on two stands yesterday but by then i was on the last pair. SidneyG
Well im completely consumed by Olympic trench, and I would love to compete at an international level, and the thought of one day achieving it keeps driving me. Will I ever get there.... who knows.... doesnt hurt to set your sights high (If you will excuse the pun). Gonna be a lot of fun trying. Condor
I certainly want to improve - have started shooting very late and time is not on my side. I think a lot of success starts off in the mind, though, so I need to find all the shortcuts I can as far as technique goes, and work on the mental game......I don't set ceilings for myself and strive to improve to the best level I can ever get to I'd love to get to County standard and win some shoots, so that's where I'm aiming!! Ozzy Fudd
So, do I want to improve, christ on a bike, yes I do. I just want to do it with a pump action :yahoo: honestly though, im happy enough with how i shoot now; it would be great if i could hit the longer ones a little better but as long as i dont get worse i dont mind
