26mm scope in optilocks

i have a 26mm tube docter scope that i was going to mount in 25mm optilocks (that i have allready), has anyone had experience of this ?

I wouldn`t if I were you and unfortunately I have just sold a set of 26mm rings

I think I have a set of either 25 mm or 26 mm rings (went on a blaser saddle mount) - you can have them if they are of any use.

Plinker, as you know Optiloks have plastic inserts so you may get away with it, as they may give a little.

I would give it a go, but it looks a bit tight, stop right there before you bust something.

thats exactly what i was thinking ,just wondered if anyone else had allready tried it .

The Optilocks have no give at all (one crimped 26mm Pecar in my cabinet to prove it). Get some proper 26mm rings, or have a 25mm pair machined/lapped to fit.
