GStrider
I am going to get my fixed choked Miroku fitted with a teague multichoke system. I am going to get it done with extended chokes as opposed to flush. However on their website they have a option of Standard Extended system or Long Extended system. Does anyone know the difference between Standard Extended and Long Extended systems and how much difference it makes to shot pattern and recoil. Thanks in advance. vmaxphil
long chokes supposed to be better patterns ( depending on cartridge ) as for recoil i doubt weather you could tell the difference, i like extended chokes because they protect the end of the barrel. Gordon R
It will be much cheaper to trade the Miroku for one with Teagues already fitted.
VicW
I would agree with Gordon on this one. I paid £875 for a three month old MK38 grade one with Teague chokes.Teagueing your existing gun will cost about £300 and I think you'll get three chokes with that. Regarding your original question. The extra long choke will make little or no difference to pattern and definitely no difference to recoil, so they are not worth the extra money. Vic.
