try and think of anyone whos known you over 2 years, and has a good job,you be surprised who can sign for sgc,fac is a bit harder.

post office master, dentist, someone who runs their own buisness etc.,someone you know who owns a sgc or fac for a few years maybe.

Lots have people have signed mine in the past, School Govener, Doctor, Dentist, Pub Landlord, company director. Have a think about who you or members of your family know. When i got my first shotgun certificate i was 14 and a family friend signed mine he was a company director even though it was a small company 5 workers if i remember, but it was a long time ago

I bet your parents have some family friends that could sign it for you. (Mine was signed by my mums friend who was a social worker, I had known her for years_

May sound a bit silly Bobbo, but have you tried speaking to your local vacar. You don't have to be a regular church goer for your vicar to know you in a small to medium sized community and he would certainly qualify. Do you have any shooting permission at the moment, if so check with your FEO, the farmer/landowner might qualify.

I got mine signed by the owner of my local trout fishery as he had known me for about 10 years. (He is a FAC holder)

Good luck with it mate, let us know how you get on! :good:
