starting my new job.

i just hope its better than my previous job in charlies. aha all this money is going to a jimny and a pup. i think a jimny will make an amazing shooting wagon. haha. whats the 4 lock on them like? cant be far off my mums l200 . haha

work went good today. was crating most of the day. untill my an mike. my boss went to get some feeders. we had to move some big metal cages to get to them. er hooked up the manitou as we lifted the one up. he sliped off the fork. and crushed his finger took it clean off. down to the secound like crease in your finger. was wild blood everywere i truthfully loved it. my boss must be hard as hell we was walking round. like now how can i pick my nose. an stuff he was setting work for people before he went to hospital as it was ******* out with blood an off. wild. so i will always remeber my first day. aha

No he could be right, I know someone who is working with a gamekeeper just left school, he is getting paid just under £700 a month thats after taxes , he has been told to go for his nvq gamekeeping apprenticeship course.

 

Bobbo some advice whatever your being paid stay at home with your parents you'll save loads of money.

Nice one mate nice to hear that someone is living there dream. im 16 aswell going to sparsholt college to study game keeping in september after working on lots of different shoots in my area for a few years. (i wish i got paid 250 a week ha ha). Anyway congrats and hope u enjoy every second of it.

hey guys sorry i havent bein on lately, bein working flat out work 8 till 8 most days then some times 8 till 9 ish crating. i earned 398 pound this week im on hourly pay, dont believe it if you dont want to. im the one smiling with a suziki jimny coming my way soon. haha. good luck sam. btw it really is wild here the boss's daughter is lush. shes 17 and there were 2 kittens in the hatchery one got ripped to bits by the terrier and the other is now in my garage its a nut case but im guna try tame it and use it as a farm cat. haha this really is my dream job. but its real hard work. thanks all

bobbo, wouldnt call 8 till 8 a real hard day! Most keepers are getting up at 4.30 am to go and check birds and dont touch the pillow until 18 hours later.

Letting kittens get ripped apart isn't the best way to impress young girls either!

And earning £398 working 12 hours a day 5 days week sounds like very good money, especially when most keepers work for £250- £300 a week doing a lot more hours than you.
