apbuild
If anyone has a Parker Hale moderator, (the type with internal baffles), you may find cleaning a bit of a chore! I have just found an excellent way to clean one. Remove the baffles using the rod supplied and place the baffles in a pot. Pour in Distilled Malt Vinegar so the baffles are all immersed and leave for a couple of hours. One by one, lightly brush with an old tooth brush and they come up clean as a whistle. Clean the tube with a 12 gauge bronze brush and re-assemble. Job done! Rob.
varmintator
why bother cleaning it thought you can leave them as fouling is minimal?

rjimmer
Try soaking them in Coca-Cola and then think about what the stuff does to your insides.

dunganick
the SAK are built like bricks too, much more effective at moderating than a parkerhale
hawkeye
never tried the parkerhale but have a sak on my .17hmr find it does a good job and not too pricey either. Mike
Lurch
why bother cleaning it thought you can leave them as fouling is minimal? Depends what you're shooting through it. If we're talking about rimfire then it will very quickly fill with crud.
